Mandi L. Metcalfe

Mandi L. Metcalfe, 39, of Fairmont Road, Chicora, went to be with the Lord and her parents late Friday morning while surrounded by her loving husband and family at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Mandi was born March 27, 1978, in Kittanning. She was the daughter of the late Terry L. and Frances M. Rattigan McElroy.

Mandi was a 1996 graduate of Karns City Area High School and a member of the Karns City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sports, bowling and most especially watching her son, Mallick, play ball.

Mandi was employed as a paraprofessional with the Butler Area School District at the Center Avenue Community School.

She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Metcalfe, whom she married Sept. 28, 2002, in Karns City. Also surviving is her son, Mallick M. Metcalfe, at home; two sisters, Rachel L. Kuhns and her husband, Steve, and Dana M. Brewer and her husband, Joe, all of Chicora; her father-in-law, William Metcalfe of Elwood City; 10 nieces and nephews, Darrin, Lauren, Kirsten, Draedan, Mickala, Harper, Jim, Jessica, Jackie and Michael; two great-nieces; two brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barbara Metcalfe.

METCALFE — Friends of Mandi L. Metcalfe, who died Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
