James W. “Jim” Holton, 52, of Emlenton passed away Sunday.

Born in Mercer Sept. 4, 1965, he was the son of the late William E. and Darlene Whitling Holton.

Jim was a 1983 graduate of Moniteau High School.

Following high school, Jim joined the U.S. Air Force. He served his country from 1983 until 1987, being discharged with rank of E-4 Security Specialist.

Jim married Susan Renee Whitlatch July 20, 1991.

Jim is survived by his wife, Susan; his sons, James “Jimmy” Holton of Allison Park, and Dustin (Michelle) Holton of Oil City; his daughter, Amber Holton of Emlenton; his sister, Tracie (Donald) Keene of Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
