M. Lucille Campbell
M. Lucille Campbell, 83, of Cranberry Township, died Sunday morning at St. John's Specialty Care Center.
Born June 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Mary E. Wells.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert E. Campbell, who died in 2002; her daughter, Cathy Frazer, who died in 2003; and three brothers.
She was the beloved mother of Edward (Ann) Campbell and Karen (Jeff) Behun; the cherished grandmother of Eric Frazer, Bethann (Erik) Zimmerman, Jason (Michelle) Behun, Kevin (Amy) Behun, Christy and Kaelyn Campbell (Billy McLaughlin); and the proud great-grandma of Ella, Claire, Mason, Natalie, Michael and Lydia, who brought her so much joy the last five years of her life.
She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Roberts; and her brother, Kenny (Linda) Lowmaster.
Lucille spent her younger years as a homemaker, making sure she was always available for her children, cheering and supporting them in every occasion.
She liked to make crafts, put puzzles together, root for the Pirates, Penguins and Steelers on TV and more than anything, spend time with her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.
Lucille was a member and active attendee of Dutilh United Methodist Church for over 50 years, always putting others before herself, living by the Golden Rule.
Lucille was a very outgoing person who always made everyone feel welcome. She had many friends and extended family members who will also miss her.
Even during her difficult last days, her kindness showed through, with many of her nurses and aides commenting on how sweet she was.
