Delores J. (Shaffer) Earley

Delores J. (Shaffer) Earley, 78, of Kaylor, Pa., went to be an angel in heaven Wednesday surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born July 7, 1939, in Adrian, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Nelson and Louise (Bonfonte) Shaffer.

She was the owner of Earlybird Janitorial Service and also was a caretaker and did house cleaning.

Delores attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Adrian.

She enjoyed yard sales, traveling, collecting angels and spending time with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Cork (Barb Hiner) Earley of Kaylor, Paul (Cheri) Earley of East Brady, and Jeff (Tina) Earley of Adrian; her daughters, Rose (Ed French) Brosius of Adrian, Susan (Richard) Olcus of Frogtown, Kimberly (Stephen) McElravy of Karns City, and Laura (Thomas Hahn) Earley of Frogtown; her sister, Connie Herczeg of Painesville, Ohio; her brothers, Meade (Francine) Shaffer of Adrian, and Larry (Allison) Shaffer of Adrian; her nieces, Louise (William) Pascale of Pittsburgh, and Grace (John) Barber of Willoughby, Ohio; and her nephew, Steve Herczeg of Painesville, Ohio

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren, two great-nieces and five great-nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Theodore Earley; her son, Wayne Earley; her son-in-law, Robert “Bubba” Brosius; her great-grandsons, Cody Earley and Gregory Hartzell; her sister, Alberta Brown; her brothers, William, Earl and George Shaffer; and her brother-in-law, Steve Herczeg.

EARLEY — Friends of Delores J. (Shaffer) Earley, who died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 E. Brady Road, Cowansville.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with an additional hour of visitation before the service. The Rev.
