Man jailed after suspected cocaine found in car
CRANBERRY TWP — A Lycoming County man is jailed on six-figure bail after state and county narcotics officers say they found about three ounces of suspected cocaine in the trunk of his car last week.
Brennan S. Gundrum, 21, of Williamsport was arrested Thursday following a probe into drug trafficking by the Pennsylvania Attorney's Office Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and the Butler County Drug Task Force.
Authorities said a police informant advised them that Gundrum was “selling cocaine,” according to court documents, and offered to sell the informant four ounces of cocaine for $6,000.
A search of the car turned up 85 grams of suspected cocaine hidden in the trunk, documents said.
Gundrum is being held in the Butler County Prison on $150,000 bail while awaiting his preliminary hearing May 11 before District Judge David Kovach.
