'Fox & Friends' to interview people at Butler cafe
Pete Hegseth, co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Fox News, will be in Butler for Primary Election day later this month.
Between 5:30 and 9 a.m., Hegseth will be at Mac's Route 8 Cafe on Pittsburgh Road to tape interviews May 15.
His appearance will be part of the show's diner series, a Fox spokesman said, in which TV personalities interview people in small towns about current events and politics.
This is not the first time a Fox crew has filmed at the cafe. “Fox & Friends” with host Anna Kooiman interviewed patrons there on primary day in April 2016 and they were back with host Clayton Morris on Election Day in November 2016 when Donald Trump won the presidency.
“Fox & Friends” airs from 6 to 9 a.m. daily on Fox News.
Butler County voters from the Republican and Democratic parties that day will weigh in on candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and governor.
