Mary Ann Pendel passed away on Monday at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.

Born Jan. 31, 1930, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a lifelong resident of Beaver County.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Aliquippa High School and the Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Beaver Falls. She worked as a registered nurse for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Pauline Hughes; her two sons; and her five grandchildren.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harry J. Pendel.
