Richard R. Hansotte Jr.

Richard R. Hansotte Jr., 59, of Warrenton, Va., formerly of Butler passed away April 5 at Fauquier Hospital in Virginia after a brief illness.

Born Oct. 29, 1958, in Butler, he was a son of Norma Carmody Hansotte and the late Richard R. Hansotte Sr. of Butler.

Rick graduated from Butler High School in 1976 and Penn Technical Institute in 1978. At the time of his death, he was retired from Micron in Virginia.

He was an active member of Life Church in Warrenton, Va.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and repairing anything, but most of all, teaching and sharing his knowledge with his daughter, Yvonne.

Rick is survived by one daughter, Yvonne Hansotte of Virginia; his mother, Norma Hansotte of Butler; one brother, Kevin Hansotte and his wife, Judy, of Butler; two sisters, Debra Bergman of Pittsburgh, and Marcie Horne and her husband, Bill, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hansotte Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Camille and Alice Hansotte; and his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Lysle Carmody.
