Linda Pauline Christy, 71, of Lyndora passed away early Wednesday morning at her residence of natural causes.

She was born in Clay Township, Butler County, on Oct. 5, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Charles Leroy and Kathryn Reese Christy.

Surviving are three brothers, Monty (Pat) Christy of Eau Claire, Gerald (Alice) Christy of Slippery Rock and Thomas (Peg) Christy of Fort Madison, Iowa; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister.
