Jeep Invasion hits Downtown
Cruising on Main Street will be on foot Friday as Jeep enthusiasts stroll downtown to enjoy the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival's Jeep Invasion.
The Jeep Invasion will be from 6 to 10 p.m.
Main Street and select side streets will be lined with over 1,200 Jeeps while DJs will play and food vendors and businesses will be available during the celebration.
Parking for all vehicles, including Jeeps, on Main Street, and all alleys and streets adjacent to Main Street is prohibited after 4 p.m. Jeeps will begin to park at 5 p.m.
All vehicles, including Jeeps, are prohibited from parking on affected streets after 4 p.m. Streets will reopen as soon as the Jeeps have cleared out after the event.
The following streets will be affected by the Jeep Invasion: Main Street; between Pearl and Wayne Street; East and West Cunningham Street; East and West Jefferson Street; East and West North Street; East and West Brady Street; and East and West Penn Street.
Main Street traffic will be diverted to Washington and McKean Streets.
Other Jeep activities the festival continues through Sunday with activities at Cooper's Lake Campgrounds in Slippery Rock.
