Donna Harbison Bachman

Donna Harbison Bachman, 63, of Butler passed away on Tuesday as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Born Aug. 12, 1954, in Butler, she was the daughter of Raymond W. Harbison and Betty Callen Harbison.

Donna had worked as an extruder for Associated Ceramics, retiring in 2017 after 43 years of service.

Donna was a 1972 graduate of Knoch High School.

As a teenager, Donna enjoyed saddlebred horses and was a member of the Butler Trojanettes, twirling batons.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles and had been riding since 1975. In the fall, she would have family and friends get together to make apple butter. She was an avid Steelers fan, was a talented painter and enjoyed karaoke. Her stage name was Monica from Kittanning. Her favorite group was AC/DC. She loved Great Dane dogs and always had one and Troy was her current dog.

Surviving are her husband and best friend, Gary Bachman, whom she married June 28, 1975; two sons, Shawn Bachman of Butler and Mike Bachman of Butler; her sister, Debbie (Doug) Christy of Butler; and three granddaughters, Kaylee, Madison and Maci.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

BACHMAN — Friends of Donna Harbison Bachman, who died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
