Virginia M. Denny

Virginia M. Denny, 96, formerly of Center Township passed away on Tuesday while under the care of La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Ind.

Born Dec. 10, 1921, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John Farinelli and Alvera Piscatelli Farinelli.

Virginia proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

She formerly worked for E.B. Peffer Cleaning in Zelienople.

She was a former member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Butler and was a current member of AARP.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Angela (James) Banyay of Butler, Salina (Barry) Ziegler of Indiana, and Therese (Paul) Wahlster of Indiana; her son, Joseph (Gladys) Miklosky of Evans City; her brothers, George Farinelli of Texas, and Paul Farinelli of Kittanning; her sisters, Caroline (Andrew) Urnosky of Florida, and Ida of Mars; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Denny, who passed away in 1984; seven brothers; and two sisters.

DENNY — Friends of Virginia M. Denny, who died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, PA 16033.A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Burial Estates in Butler.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
