Debra Mae Rothen

Debra Mae Rothen, 73, of Blissfield, Mich., formerly of Saxonburg passed away Jan. 12 at the home of her son, Rob.

Debra was born Jan. 12, 1945, at home in Frazier Township, Pa., to Bartram G. and Mabel (Rahner) Murray III.

She attended Freeport High School in Freeport, graduating with the class of 1962.

Debra worked as a teller and supervisor at PNC Bank and also as an accountant for Allegheny Lumber.

She was the main organizer of her class reunions, loving to see her fellow classmates. After retiring, she drove the Allegheny Valley Hospital shuttle.

She loved to read and was a daughter of the Eastern Star and also a member of the Shriners Daughters of the Nile.

Survivors include her mother, Mable Murray; her brother, Bartram (Gil) Murray IV; her sons, Robert (Cammie) Rothen Jr. of Blissfield, Mich., and Bart (Beth) Rothen of Ford Cliff, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, Bartram G. Murray III, Debra was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly “Lynn” Brown; and a niece, Tammy (Brown) Henderson.

As Debra requested, cremation has taken place.

ROTHEN — A celebration of life for Debra Mae Rothen, who died Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ford Cliff Fire Department in Ford Cliff, Pa.Arrangements were entrusted to Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel, Blissfield, Mich.Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.wagleyfuneralhomes.com.
