Elizabeth Hohman

Elizabeth Hohman, 89, of Connoquenessing Township passed away Thursday while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia of Cabot.

Born Aug. 31, 1928, in Wayne County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Brady Ward and Sadie Mullins Ward.

Elizabeth attended Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church in Prospect. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland in McCandless Township.

She served as the secretary-treasurer of the Pennsylvania Pony Pulling Association for many years.

She will be dearly missed.

Elizabeth leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Charles Hohman and his wife, Mary Ann, of Crestview, Fla., Sandra Link of Yukon, Okla., and Kathy Laue and her husband, Chip, of Connoquenessing Township; her brothers, Brady Ward of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joseph Ward and his wife, Dianna, of Wayne, W.Va.; her sisters, Cora Dixon and Dorothy Williams, both of Ceredo, W.Va., and Donna Jane Neff of Grayson, Ky.; her grandchildren, Paul Hohman and his wife, Rhonda, Kimberly Link, Stefanie Sapp and her husband, Duane, Jacklyn Hatley and her husband, Mike, and William, Randy, Cody and Tiffany Laue; and her great-grandchildren, Halie Sapp, Jace Zaldivar, Lelia Hohman, Jadyn Hatley and Susie Hohman.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Hohman, who passed away in 2004; her brothers, James, Robert, Edward, Herbert and John Ward; and her sister, Frances Lucas.

HOHMAN — Friends of Elizabeth Hohman, who died Thursday, May 24, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.She will be laid to rest at St. John's Lutheran Church of Highland Cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
