Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash about 12:40 p.m. Sunday, on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township.

State police said the accident happened when the driver of a sport utility vehicle pulled out from Butler Farm Market in front of a minivan traveling west.

The driver of the SUV and one of four passengers in the van were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with apparent minor injuries.

Police did not immediately release the names of the drivers or the injured passenger.

The crash has reduced traffic around the scene.

Connoquenessing and Butler Township Fire District Volunteer firefighters assisted police.
