Jeffrey James Kier
Jeffrey James Kier, 61, of Mars passed away Saturday morning in the comfort of his home.
Born Sept. 28, 1956, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late James Porter and Margaret Louise Dunbar Kier.
Jeff had been a laborer for Madia Homes.
He had been a member of Glade Run Presbyterian Church and was a social member of the Mars VFW.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Kinney Kier, whom he married on June 27, 1981; two daughters, Jennifer (Dan) Lyker of Valencia, and Michelle (Michael) Mentzer of Adams Township; his grandchildren, Maggie, Audrey, Zachary, Casey, Cameron and Chloe; a sister, Kathy “Katie” (Andy) Maitland of Valencia; a brother, Marco Kier of Valencia; and a sister-in-law, Carol Kier of Valencia.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and James Kier.
KIER — The family of Jeffrey James Kier, who died Saturday, June 9, 2018, will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Mars VFW, 331 Mars-Valencia Road, Mars.Services will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday, followed by a meal. The Rev.
