Ronald “Korn” G. Kilcoin

Ronald “Korn” G. Kilcoin, 75, of Boyers, formerly of Port Allegany, passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Korn was born Sept. 7, 1942, in Austin, Pa. He was the son of the late Gilbert I. Kilcoin and Vivian P. Blanchard Bashline.

Korn was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, serving in the 1st Infantry Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart for his service.

Korn retired in 1998 as a box maker for the Ball Glass Company in Port Allegany.

He was a member of the VFW in Port Allegany.

Korn is survived by one daughter, Tara (Patrick) Farley of Indian Trail, N.C.; one son, Thomas (Connie) Kilcoin of Boyers; and four grandchildren, Tori Kilcoin, Jacob Kilcoin, Carolina Farley and Aiden Farley. Also surviving are one brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Kilcoin of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.

Korn was preceded in death by his wife, Delores “Dolly” Kilcoin; and his stepfather, Thomas Bashline.

KILCOIN — Burial and services for Ronald “Korn” G. Kilcoin, who died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, will occur privately in Port Allegany Cemetery.Arrangements were entrusted to William F.
