Work on the new science lab is part of a $1.2 million renovation project that started in late June. The main lobby, bathrooms and faculty offices are also being renovated and a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system is being installed. New computers, lab equipment, furniture, carpet, paint and ceilings are included in the project. The south side of the 22,500-square foot building, which opened in January 1990, will be completed by Aug. 27, the first day of classes for the 2018 fall semester.
