A man driving a Honda CRV apparently took a bend too fast late Monday morning and hit a bank and two trees near Bolton Lane on Leisie Road in Forward Township, according to Tim Schoeffel, assistant chief at the Evans City Volunteer Fire Department.

The man was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A state trooper at the scene said citations will be issued in the near future. Quality Ambulance and Callery VFD also responded to the scene.
