Debra and Dr. Ronald Cypher

Dr. Ronald and Debra Cypher of Butler celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a weekend stay at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

Cypher married the former Debra Gallagher on Aug. 19, 1978, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They are the parents of Heather Peterson of Slippery Rock and Kristin Sponaugle of Clovis, N.M. They also have two granddaughters.

Cypher is an obstetrician/gynecologist with Allegheny Health Network.

Mrs. Cypher retired as a children’s pastor at North Main Street Church of God.

They both attend Community Alliance Church in Butler.
