Stella M. Lucas

Stella M. Lucas, 100, of Butler passed away Sunday at Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.

Born Aug. 3, 1917, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Catherine Thoma Geibel.

She was a homemaker. Before her marriage, she was a domestic worker for many families and worked for Castle Rubber.

She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed card parties, bingo and was active in the Christian Mothers of St. Wendelin and other church activities.

Surviving are her son, Ronald P. (Pamela) Lucas of Butler; two daughters, Mary Lee (Raymond) Baptiste of Largo, Fla., and Eleanor M. (Leonard) Baptiste of Elizabethtown, N.C.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Rita Mustaff of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Lucas, whom she married Oct. 17, 1946; one grandson, Daniel Baptiste; six brothers; and one sister.

LUCAS — Friends of Stella M. Lucas, who died Sunday, July 29, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler. The Rev.
