Police seek Butler man after woman 'thrown' from moving vehicle
Police are looking for a Butler man accused of throwing a woman from a moving vehicle Saturday evening, at the Sheetz on Pittsburgh Road.
Robert H. Vanscoy, 45, is charged with felony aggravated assault, and misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and simple assault, after police responded to the gas station at about 7:39 Saturday, for a report of a woman with a head injury.
Police said they arrived to find a 47-year-old Butler woman bleeding from a laceration over her left eye and suffering from multiple contusions. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Vanscoy, police said, had fled the area and police are asking for the public's help locating him.
