Gloria J. Capicotto
Gloria J. Capicotto, 86, of Butler went to go dance with her loving late husband, Samuel, on Tuesday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born Dec. 13, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Walter Reinhold and Annetta (Phillips) Reinhold.
Gloria was a founder and co-owner of Capco Paper Co., and also Capicotto Concession Co., a food concession service that attended around 20 fairs and festivals in the Western Pennsylvania area each summer season for more than 40 years.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was also a member of the 55 Alive club at St. Michael's, the Pennsylvania Showman Association and the Tri-State Country Music Association.
She was an active bowler and had loved to dance, enjoyed her flowers, gardening, going to the casino and her dogs, but mostly loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her four daughters, Susan (James) Frawley, Denise (Randy) Bowser, Darlene (Richard) Trimbur and Maria (James) Marburger, all of Butler; six grandchildren, Chad Ruggles, Megan Bosko, Tyler Trimbur, Cory Trimbur, and Jessica and Ashley Ikenberg; and one great-granddaughter, Harper Grace Bosko.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 65 years, Samuel J. Capicotto Jr., whom she married Oct. 25, 1952, and who died Sept. 26, 2017; one son, Michael J. Capicotto; one brother; and two sisters.
CAPICOTTO — Friends of Gloria J. Capicotto, who died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler. The Rev.
