SAM HENSON (Seneca Valley), a senior linebacker for the Grove City College football team, had seven tackles and half a quarterback sack in the Wolverines’ 49-23 loss to Case Western Reserve.
TRAVIS LAUSTER (Slippery Rock), a senior linebacker on the Westminster football team, had an interception in the Titans’ 31-14 win at Saint Vincent.
MAVERICK KELSEA (Karns City), a member of the Clarion University football team, had a 21-yard touchdown catch in the Golden Eagles’ 44-7 win over Lincoln.
REBECCA PENNINGTON (Karns City), a freshman on the Chatham cross country team, placed third out of 121 runners overall at the Allegheny Classic with a time of 18 minutes, 31 seconds.
ANGELA SEMAN (Seneca Valley), a senior libero on the Pitt volleyball team, had 17 digs in the Panthers’ 3-1 win over HighPoint. Pitt is 11-0 and off to its best start since 1983. Seman also had 21 digs in a 3-1 win over Charleston.
