Jeffrey P. “Satch” File
Jeffrey P. “Satch” File, 55, of East Brady, formerly of Bruin, died Thursday morning of injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident near East Brady.
Jeffrey was born Sept. 20, 1962, in Butler. He was the son of the late William and Margaret Rankin File.
Jeff was a member of the Faith Community United Methodist Church in Bruin. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and most especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Satch was a 1981 graduate of Karns City High School and was employed by Municipal Contracting in Mars, where he operated an industrial street sweeper.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia J. “Patty” Graham File, whom he married May 7, 1994, in Chicora.
Also surviving are two children, Joshua P. File and Marissa J. File, both of East Brady; his brother, Richard “Rick” File and his wife, Melissa, of Petrolia; his father-in-law, William “Bill” Graham of Bruin; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debby and Ken Anderson of Karns City, Diane Graham of Bruin, Tammy and Bob Adams of Mercer, Karen Watterson of Worthington, Terri Libecco and Jon Walters of East Brady; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sons, Matthew and Bradley; his brother, David File; his mother-in-law, Joyce Graham; and his stepfather, Steve Matijak.
FILE — Friends of Jeffrey P. “Satch” File, who died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road.A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Floyd Barnhart, pastor of Faith Community Church, officiating.
