Gary L. “Wildman” Reges Sr.
Gary L. “Wildman” Reges Sr., 61, of Butler passed away surrounded by his loved ones Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 2, 1957, in Butler, the son of Louis “Bob” Reges and Shirley (Manny) Reges of Butler.
Gary had been a mechanic at Reges Auto Wrecking and Renick's. He also had been a bus driver for the Butler School District.
He enjoyed bowling and had received a ring for a 299 score. He also liked racing cars and going to Lernerville Speedway.
Surviving are his parents; his wife of 45 years, Sally (Brothers) Reges; three sons, Chad (Lisa) Reges, Gary “Louie” (Danielle) Reges Jr. and Shawn (Cassie) Reges, all of Butler; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Cindy (Guy) Martsolf of Butler; a brother, David (Sandy) Reges of Herman; his best friend, Albert Selfridge of Butler; three aunts; several nieces and nephews; two brothers-in law, Robert (Ellen) Brothers and Thomas Brothers; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Lee.
REGES — Friends of Gary L. “Wildman” Reges Sr., who died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev.
