Patricia R. Marshall

Patricia R. Marshall, 88, of Middlesex Township passed away on Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with the involvement of Amedisys Hospice.

Born March 22, 1930, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George McLaughlin and Juel (Madl) McLaughlin.

Patricia was a loving and supportive wife to the late Charles Alfred Marshall, who died on May 31, 2006. Patricia and Charles raised a strong family of 10 children.

Pat was actively involved in the Women's Auxiliary at the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department for a number of years, serving many in her community.

Pat's hobbies included selling Avon, playing bingo and Racetrack, making candy, canning, listening to her favorite artist, Dolly Parton, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all whom she has impacted over her strong and beautiful life.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Charles (Darlene) Marshall, Nicholas (Annette) Marshall, Patricia “Trish” (Kris) Haupl, Rege (Cheryl) Marshall, Joyce (William) Vogel, Steve (Lisa) Marshall, Nelson (Ronna) Marshall, Julie Marshall and Pete (Staci) Marshall; her 32 grandchildren; her 49 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Dolores “Lori” Freeauf and Dave McLaughlin; and her daughter-in-law, Denise Marshall.

Pat was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert McLaughlin and Gary McLaughlin; her sisters, Nancy Leidecher and Kay Petroni; and her son, David Marshall.

MARSHALL — Family and friends of Patricia R. Marshall, who died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.She will be laid to rest at Glade Run Cemetery.If desired, memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
