Patricia Ann Whitford

Patricia Ann Whitford, 79, of Armagh, Pa., formerly of Lyndora, passed away on Monday at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

Born Sept. 11, 1939, in New York City, she was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Ufner) Hilovsky.

Pat was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer City.

She was an avid shopper.

Pat loved her church, family, friends and animals, especially her cats.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, David G. Whitford of Armagh; her loving daughter, Mary Jo, married to Ronald Allison, of Vintondale, Pa.; her grandsons, Levi and Cole Allison; her nieces and nephews, Rick (Linda) McPherson, Coopsie Bayer, Valerie Byrne and Jeffrey McPherson; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce (Hilovsky) McPherson; and her brother, Michael Hilovsky.

WHITFORD — Friends of Patricia Ann Whitford, who died Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, Pa., where a holy ceremony of Parastas will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer City, with the Rev.
