Lois A. Bauder

Lois A. Bauder, 86, of Portersville passed away on Saturday.

Born May 6, 1932, in Butler County, she was the youngest daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Wenner Hilliard.

She was married to George “Jake” Bauder for 58 years when he passed in 2009.

Lois was a fun person who enjoyed life.

She had many jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked at Dustproof, Steele Print, Eldelman's Print Shop, and Weyerhaeuser, and retired from Brown's Country Kitchen in 2009 at the age of 77.

She was a member of the Mountville Church in Portersville.

She enjoyed garage sales, flea markets, playing cards and eating out at restaurants.

She was a wonderful mother and a fantastic grandmother.

She leaves behind her daughter, Tammy (Mark) Bauder and her grandson, Nate (Gabrielle Lordi) Bauder, all of Ellwood City; two sisters, Marjorie Stephenson and Doris Pfeifer, both of Portersville; two sisters-in-law, Louise Bauder of Florida, and Joyce (Lanny) Campbell of Harrisville; many nieces and nephews; and her cat, Penny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a niece, Wendy Evans.

BAUDER — Visiting hours for Lois A. Bauder, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. Her pastor, the Rev. Patrick Keeley will officiate the service.Final interment will follow in Mountville Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountville Cemetery Association.Online condolences may be sent to marshallsfh.com.
