Karen Hindman Crisman
Karen Hindman Crisman, 54, of Parker passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Sept. 19, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Emogene Kifer Hindman.
Karen was a 1983 graduate of Moniteau High School and was United Methodist by faith.
Karen married Mark Crisman on Oct. 8, 1988, in Hilliards. He survives
After high school, Karen was employed as a business support specialist for OPM-ROC for 30 years and eight months. She recently became an independent consultant for Norwex.
Karen is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mark; two children, Dylan (Mindy) Crisman of Emlenton, and Hayli (Kyle) Sheakley of Parker; two grandchildren, Layne and Korie Crisman; three sisters, Janet Hiatt of Celina, Texas, Susan (Raymond) Dunkle of Kennerdell, and Barb (John) Painter of Hershey; two brothers, Don Hindman of Emlenton, and Jim “Bonehead” Hindman of Clintonville; 18 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Louise Gold and Sandra Elias; and her brothers, Larry Hindman and Ken Hindman.
CRISMAN — Friends and family of Karen Hindman Crisman, who died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, will be received from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S.
