Carol Brooks (Patrus) Craig

Carol Brooks (Patrus) Craig, 76, of Indianapolis, Ind., passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, AD 2018, the Feast of St. Jerome, PrCD.

She was born on Sept. 24, AD 1942, The Feast of Our Lady of Ransom, in Pittsburgh, and was a daughter of the late John F. and Lois M. (Dickson) Patrus.

She grew up in rural Butler County.

Carol graduated from Vincentian High School in 1960, and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenwood, Ind., and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Ind.

Carol is survived by her children, Timothy (Aliene) Thunell of Greenwood, Ind., Natalie Bennett of Mercer; a brother, John Patrus of Valencia; four grandchildren, Tiberius Thunell, Rhiannon Thunell, Skyler Bennett and Victoria Bennett; and a niece, Jessica Hennen (Patrus) of Shaler Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Thunell; a sister, Donna Patrus; and her nephew, Abraham Patrus.

CRAIG — Visitation for Carol Brooks (Patrus) Craig, who died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, Ind.Requiem Mass for the repose of her soul will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 245 W. Broadway St., Greenwood, Ind., by the Rev. Father Dylan Flanery, SSPX.Burial will be in Mount Royal Memorial Park Cemetery in Glenshaw.Graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Magiera, FSSP.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to SSPX U.S. District, P.O.
