William W. Bauman, 86, of Conneaut Lake passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday.

He was born on April 16, 1932, in Deer Creek, Pa. He married Phyllis Bauman in July of 1979. She survives.

William was a high school graduate and served in the U.S. Navy.

He was employed by Sprint Telephone and retired in Butler in 1990.

William was of the Presbyterian faith and he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Phyllis; a brother, James Bauman of Evans City; a niece, Margaret Young of New Castle; and a nephew, William Gealey of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
