Donald J. Lavorini Sr., 86, of Butler passed away Saturday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born Dec. 16, 1931, in Butler, and was the son of the late Marino J. and Margaret (Gallagher) Lavorini.

Donald retired as an iron worker from the Iron Workers Local Union 3.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and boating.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Madelyn Lavorini; his four children, Donald J. Lavorini Jr., Frank T. Lavorini, Gloria A. Spiece and Diane (Scott) Spiece; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alberta Lavorini Kowal.
