An 86-year-old Slippery Rock woman told police she fell asleep while driving on Route 8 in Brady Township about 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. State police reported that her Subaru Legacy struck a mailbox on her right, then swerved left across the lane of oncoming traffic, wedging between two trees.
