Reda Georgiann Kerr, former chairman of the Butler County Democratic Committee, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital, according to her husband of 31 years, David Kerr.

The couple resided in Lancaster Township.

Georgiann served two four-year terms as the chair of the Butler County Democratic Committee.

Kerr’s death was confirmed by Young Funeral Home in Butler, which is handling funeral arrangements.
