Sibling rivalry turns violent; two injured, one jailed
CLEARFIELD TWP — So much for brotherly love.
State police allege two brothers got into a fight early Sunday morning that left both bruised and bloodied and in need of hospital treatment.
But only the younger sibling, Joshua P. Luchkiw, 33, of Butler, landed behind bars after police say he also assaulted a trooper.
District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Luchkiw on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He is in the Butler County Prison on $30,000 bail.
Basil A. Luchkiw, 36, was also arrested and ended up at a Pittsburgh hospital where he received additional medical care for injuries, police said.
