Catherine J. Crawford

Catherine J. “Trink” Crawford, 89, of Callensburg, passed away Saturday at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born July 10, 1929, in Callensburg, she was the daughter of William Russell Aughton and Mildred Bellva (Heeter) Aughton.

Trink was a longtime resident of Callensburg and loved caring for her home and family.

She was a member of Callensburg First Church of God and was happiest when spending time with friends and family.

Trink leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Richard L. Crawford and wife, Lugene, of Parker; grandsons, R. Curtis Crawford, of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Adam Crawford and wife, Lauren, of Butler; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Ava Crawford; brother, Harold Aughton and wife, Carolyn, of Parker; and sisters-in-law, Janice Aughton and Doretha Aughton, both of Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard L. Crawford, Sr., whom she married Sept. 19, 1953 and who died April 29, 2000; and brothers, James and William Aughton.

CRAWFORD — Relatives and friends of Catherine J. “Trink” Crawford, who died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main St., Rimersburg. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Callensburg First Church of God, 216 Scott St., Callensburg, with the Rev.
