Lucille M. Edmiston

Lucille Margaret Edmiston, 92, of Cabot, formerly of Butler, passed away on Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

She was born April 19, 1926, in Franklin, to the late Lewis Ferson and the late Celia Naugle Ferson Mangel.

Mrs. Edmiston was a member of Community Alliance Church.

She served as a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital for many years.

Lucille enjoyed baking, crafting, reading and word search puzzles.

She is survived by her four sons, Terry L. (Tina) Edmiston of Butler, Lewis E. (Sandy) Edmiston of Riverview, Fla., Billy L. Edmiston of Butler, and Bruce (Donna) Edmiston of Butler; one daughter, Peggy Louise Stewart of Butler; 11 grandchildren, Jenny, Jason, Brandis, Jennifer, Jeff, Samantha, Lisa, Eric, Erin, Kristina, and Ryan; 14 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Edmiston, who passed away on Oct. 22, 1992.

EDMISTON — Friends of Lucille Margaret Edmiston, who died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held immediately following at 5 p.m. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert Edmunson officiating.Private burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Butler Area Public Library, 218 N.
