Elma L. (Passarelli) Hall
Elma L. (Passarelli) Hall, 73, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
She was born Jan. 21, 1945, in Butler, and was a daughter of the late Constantine and Myrtle (Rupert) Passarelli.
Living in the Butler area her whole life, Elma graduated from Butler High School in 1962, then attended Edinboro University, where she studied art.
She worked for the United Telephone Co. and the Butler Teachers Federal Credit Union. For many years, she also had regular child care in her home.
She was a member of Hill United Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. Elma was also an elder at Covenant United Presbyterian Church.
In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crafting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Mark E. Hall of Butler; two sons Timothy G. (Amy) Hall of Columbus Ohio, and Douglas S. (Kristy Davis) Hall of Butler; four grandchildren Avery, Olivia, Madyson and Kaydence; two sisters Marsha (Paul) Demeter of Zelienople, and Alice (David) Steffler of Fombell; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Elma was preceded in death by her parents.
HALL — Friends of Elma L. (Passarelli) Hall, who died Wednesday, Jan 9, 2019, will be welcomed by the family from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
