Gary Randolph Sansotta
Gary Randolph Sansotta, 66, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Port Royal, S.C., and McCandless Township passed away peacefully on Thursday in the comfort of his home with his loving wife by his side.
It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Gary Randolph Sansotta.
Gary fought a brief but brave battle with cancer in an attempt to buy time to hold his first grandson.
Gary was a big man with a big spirit and loving heart.
He was the beloved husband of Julia (Nicotero) Sansotta; and the loving father of Dominique (Andrew) Dalkos and Sarah (Aaron) Catania. His loving character and strong values will live on through his daughters forever.
Gary was the devoted son of the late Martha and Donald Anthony; and the brother of the late Donald Anthony Jr. and his twin, Larry.
Gary will live on in the hearts of those who loved him including his father- in-law, Ross Nicotero II; his brother-in-law, Ross (April) Nicotero III; and his nephew, Ross IV (Vinny).
Gary also is survived by his extended family, including his brother-in-law, Peter Nicotero; his sister-in-law, Jessica Siwicki; and numerous nieces and nephews.
SANSOTTA — Family and friends of Gary Randolph Sansotta, who died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills.A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.Entombment will follow in North Side Catholic Cemetery with full military honors.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.Please visit www.devlinfuneralhome.com to view this tribute and send online condolences to the family.
