William W. Watterson, 57, of Butler passed away on Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 14, 1961, in Butler, and was a son of the late Howard Watterson and the late Alma Jane Frederick Watterson.

William was a purchasing agent for Fleming Steel.

He was a member of the NRA and the Butler Hunting and Fishing Club.

William was an avid hunter and expert marksman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to flea markets.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 21 years, Rebecca Brady Watterson; and his son, Pvt. 1st Class Benjamin Watterson of Fort Bragg, N.C., of whom Bill was most proud of.
