Gerald Guy Colosimo

Gerald Guy Colosimo

It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Guy Colosimo announces his passing after a brief illness. Gerry, 58, of Concord, N.C., passed away Saturday at Atrium HealthCare Northeast in Concord, N.C.

Born Sept. 22, 1960, in Grove City, he was the son of the late Guy and Frances (Barron) Colosimo.

A 1979 graduate of Butler High School, Gerry received his bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University.

Gerry worked at the Bank of America in Charlotte, N.C.

Gerry was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, cycling and running. He was a devoted, some may say passionate, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. Gerry loved to travel and was planning a trip to Italy in July.

He is remembered with love by his sister, Patsi (Mark) Photiou of Florida; his twin brother, George (Patty) Colosimo of Butler; his brother, Kevin Colosimo of Gibsonia; a nephew, Christian (Dennis) Thompson of Florida; a niece, Nicole (Brandon) Tonya of Butler; a close friend, Sherry Stevenson of Burgettstown; and his two daily companions, Troy and Chelsea, his much loved Portuguese water dogs.

You will be missed … thanks for the memories, Gerry.
