Elizabeth “Betty” Kaplin, of Slippery Rock, formerly of Pittsburgh peacefully passed away on Jan. 7 to join her heavenly family at the age of 88.

Betty was a blessing to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son, Carl, and his wife, Barbara, of Slippery Rock.

Betty had three grandchildren, Thomas, Melissa and Melanie Kaplin; and one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Kaplin.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Harriett; and her husband, Carlton Kaplin.
