Norma Josephs Cirillo

Norma Josephs Cirillo, 83, of Butler passed away peacefully Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Norma was born March 24, 1935, and was a daughter of the late Nicola Josephs and Sophie (Sams) Josephs.

Norma was married to Anthony Cirillo on April 22, 1957. He died Dec. 11, 2002.

Norma was a graduate of Butler High School and had worked at several law offices, finally retiring from the Butler County Courthouse after 22 years.

She was a member of St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church and the 55 Alive Club.

She was an avid bowler, enjoyed trips to the casino and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Teri Cirillo of Pittsburgh; a sister, Diane Josephs of Butler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Michael Cirillo; two brothers, Norman and Donald Josephs; and three sisters, Martha Renfrew, Deloris Bynum and Sylvia Josephs.

CIRILLO — Friends of Norma Josephs Cirillo, who died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Antiochian Orthodox Church in Butler. The Rev. Bogdan Bucur will officiate.
