Man sentenced up to 11 years for drug charges
A Butler judge told a Philadelphia man on Thursday that he was a “poison” to the community and the country before sentencing him to 33 months to 11 years in state prison for drug charges.
A jury found Thomas W. Stevenson Jr. guilty last month to possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to deliver. During the jury trial, prosecutors relied heavily on a confidential informant and shaky footage taken during a 2015 drug deal between the informant and Stevenson.
