Early morning drug investigation at Negley Avenue home ongoing
State police vice officers are at a home in Butler's Island neighborhood as part of a drug investigation. An officer said police served a drug warrant early Wednesday morning at a two-story house on the 300 block of Negley Avenue.
Authorities are continuing their search for possible evidence inside the house. At least one person was taken into custody.
At one point a drug-detecting dog was deployed to check a car in front of the home. The dog apparently found nothing and a woman was allowed to leave in the car.
Police cited the ongoing investigation and declined further comment.
