ALLEGHENY TWP - State Police are investigating after two firearms were stolen from a camp site.

According to a release, the suspected burglary took place between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:20 p.m. Sunday at a camp site on Blauser Road in the township.

The victims were not present at the time of the incident, and arrived at the site Sunday to find damage to a locked side door. They reported several items stolen, including a rifle and a shotgun.

State Police indicate they are still investigating.
