CENTER TWP — A portion of Mercer and North Duffy Roads are closed to non-residents until 3 p.m. Wednesday to patch portions of the two roads.

Mercer Road will be closed from the Route 8 North Extension to North Duffy Road, and North Duffy Road will be closed down to the Abie Abraham Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Center, said Anthony Amendolea, Center Township secretary and treasurer.

“We are just doing patch work at Mercer and North Duffy Road down to the VA for today,” he said. “It should be complete by 3 p.m.”.

Amendolea says the VA is still accessible during the paving.
