Judge accepts Robinson's guilty plea withdrawal
Family drama and hasty decision-making are the supposed culprits behind a guilty plea, Raheem J. Robinson explained Monday in court before a Butler judge accepted Robinson's decision to withdraw his plea deal in a drive-by shooting case.
“This case needs to be tried,” Judge Timothy McCune said, accepting Robinson's request to withdrawal his guilty plea. The trial will likely take place in August.
The 28-year-old Butler resident is being held in Butler County Prison after his bail was denied for his alleged role last year in a drive-by shooting on North Sixth Avenue.
