SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock University softball team will hold tryouts for all current SRU students Sept. 21 at the SRU Softball Complex.

The event will run from 1 to 3 p.m. during which attendees will be evaluated on their offensive and defensive skills along with their speed, strength, and quickness.

Registration for the tryout will begin at 12:30 p.m. A mandatory informational meeting will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 29 in Room 31 at the Morrow Field House. No equipment will be required for this meeting as it is strictly informational.
